Why Bombing Ashkelon is the Most Tragic Irony

Robert Fisk: Why bombing Ashkelon is the most tragic irony

Tuesday, 30 December 2008

How easy it is to snap off the history of the Palestinians, to delete the narrative of their tragedy, to avoid a grotesque irony about Gaza which – in any other conflict – journalists would be writing about in their first reports: that the original, legal owners of the Israeli land on which Hamas rockets are detonating live in Gaza.

That is why Gaza exists: because the Palestinians who lived in Ashkelon and the fields around it – Askalaan in Arabic – were dispossessed from their lands in 1948 when Israel was created and ended up on the beaches of Gaza. They – or their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren – are among the one and a half million Palestinian refugees crammed into the cesspool of Gaza, 80 per cent of whose families once lived in what is now Israel. This, historically, is the real story: most of the people of Gaza don't come from Gaza.

But watching the news shows, you'd think that history began yesterday, that a bunch of bearded anti-Semitic Islamist lunatics suddenly popped up in the slums of Gaza – a rubbish dump of destitute people of no origin – and began firing missiles into peace-loving, democratic Israel, only to meet with the righteous vengeance of the Israeli air force. The fact that the five sisters killed in Jabalya camp had grandparents who came from the very land whose more recent owners have now bombed them to death simply does not appear in the story.

Both Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres said back in the 1990s that they wished Gaza would just go away, drop into the sea, and you can see why. The existence of Gaza is a permanent reminder of those hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who lost their homes to Israel, who fled or were driven out through fear or Israeli ethnic cleansing 60 years ago, when tidal waves of refugees had washed over Europe in the aftermath of the Second World War and when a bunch of Arabs kicked out of their property didn't worry the world ...

[...]A nice man was there at the entrance to the museum, an invalid of IDF from the Yom Kippur War, who was born and lived all his life in Ashkelon. From his knowledge and enthusiasm one could tell that he loves the city very much. He had no problem telling me how in 1953 the Arabs were expelled, and the long process of looking for a new name for the place started (the Arab name was Majdl), till it was decided to call the place Ashkelon. The entire communications between the authorities regarding the cleansing of the city of Arabs and Hebrewisation of the name is exhibited in the museum. I think that nobody makes the connection today between the fact that the Qassams land on Ashkelon and the fact that poor Arabs who did nothing wrong to anybody were put on trucks and expelled from their city to Gaza fifty five years ago, and since then they are there and Ashkelon is here. And this did not happen in wartime or as a result of hostilities, but from a cold calculation that the area must be cleansed of Arabs. There is a picture in the museum that shows the Arabs sitting and waiting in front of the of Israeli military government building. It sends shivers down my spine because it happens in the year I was born. And it is really, really hard for me to realize that at the time that my parents were happy with my birth, other people were put on trucks and expelled from their homes.[...]

Benedict to Bless Counterfeit Israel in May

The politicians and rabbis of counterfeit Israel have issued repeated invitations to Benedict XVI for a visit to that evil state since his election in 2005. Benedict and his spokesmen repeatedly replied that the conditions in "Israel" weren't right for a papal visit. The gullible may have taken this to mean that the pope opposed the humanitarian disaster taking place in the occupied territories, but now we know for certain that this wasn't even a consideration for the pope. He was merely holding out due to Israeli financial chicanery related to Vatican properties which he apparently has been led to believe will soon be settled after 14 years.

Note that days after the Vatican confirmed that it was planning for a papal visit to counterfeit Israel that the Israelis began showering the people of Gaza with U.S.-supplied bombs from their U.S.-supplied F-16's. And yes, these are the same people of Gaza whom the Israelis had prepared for these atrocities by confining them to a ghetto and depriving them of all basic life necessities for many months beforehand, cruelty which the Vatican has been quite mute about as far as I am aware. Benedict, in a grotesque mockery of papal diplomacy, has responded to these Israeli bombings with fake neutrality, equally condemning "violence" on both sides as if there were some parity between Gaza and "Israel" in these events and the conditions that preceded them. Benedict's response in essence would be somewhat similar to telling the Warsaw ghetto-confined "Jews" and the Nazis to stop fighting with each other (imagine the Judaic shrieking if that had happened!), and this from a man who is so often praised for his keen intellect. What a boost Benedict has given the Israelis who desire so much to exterminate the Palestinian people from Palestinian land and to accomplish this with the world thinking well of them for it.

There will be a Benedict XVI papal visit to that pit of evil which he calls the "Holy Land" and it seems that, now that their real estate issues may be close to a settlement, no war crimes or humanitarian disaster could stop it.

Pope trip to Holy Land still possible despite Gaza

Sun 28 Dec 2008

By Phil Stewart

VATICAN CITY, Dec 28 (Reuters) - A possible trip by Pope Benedict to the Holy Land should not be written off because of the escalating conflict in the Gaza Strip, the Vatican's chief spokesman told Reuters on Sunday.

A papal trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories, expected in the spring, would be significant for political and religious relations in the Middle East. It would also be the pope's first trip to the Holy Land since his election in 2005.

Rev. Federico Lombardi said that speculation in the Italian media that the Vatican was rethinking the trip because of the violence was "premature", even as the death toll neared 290 from the two-day Israeli offensive in Gaza.

"It's clear that (the Vatican) is following the situation, but it seems premature to say this incident is a determining or definitive factor," Lombardi said.

He added that the idea of a papal trip to the region had always been addressed "with a certain understanding that the situation is still a risky situation".

"The pope wants to make this trip. There have been contacts to prepare a draft programme and now we must wait to learn if there is a decision" to go ahead with it, he said, adding the final decision was up to the pontiff himself.

Benedict has repeatedly called for an end to the fighting in recent days, including during a high-profile appeal at Christmas. On Sunday, he pressed for all sides to abandon the "perverse logic of conflict and violence".

"The native land of Jesus cannot continue to be witness to so much bloodshed, repeating itself without end. I implore an end to that violence ... and for a renewal of the truce in the Gaza Strip," he told crowds gathered in St. Peter's Square.

The Vatican supports Israel's right to exist within secure borders alongside an independent Palestinian state and hopes a papal trip can help political and religious dialogue aimed at Middle East peace.

Two of Benedict's predecessors in modern times, John Paul II and Paul VI, also visited the Holy Land.

A trip by the pope to Israel could also help improve Catholic-Jewish relations, strained recently over wartime Pope Pius XII, accused by some Jews of turning a blind eye to the Holocaust.

The Vatican says that while Pius did not speak out against the Holocaust, he worked behind the scenes to help Jews because direct intervention would have worsened the situation by prompting retaliation from Hitler. (Editing by Philippa Fletcher)

Israel, Vatican eager to finalize talks before papal visit

By Judith Sudilovsky
Catholic News Service

Dec-22-2008

JERUSALEM (CNS) -- Israeli and Vatican negotiators appear eager to finalize negotiations on fiscal and property matters prior to the pope's visit to the Holy Land, a source close to the negotiations said.

"Both the state of Israel and the representatives of the Holy See are very interested to finalize this," he said, adding that though he was unaware of any official policy, the pope's visit, reportedly in May, might be acting as an impetus for both sides to finish up negotiations.

In a statement following a plenary session at the Vatican Dec. 18, the negotiators said they have scheduled another plenary session for April 23 and four meetings of their working group which will take place starting in January with "the intent on both sides of accelerating the process and reaching an agreement as soon as possible."

The statement called the December meeting "significant and useful."

"Everybody is tired," said the source, who wished to remain anonymous. "The visit by the pope may be the time to finalize it."

What Does Christmas Have To Do With The Hanging Of Saddam Hussein?

According to Benedict's elder brothers in the faith, quite a lot. More arcana of the hateful rabbinic desecration of Christmas eve "Nitel Nacht" (Nativity Night of the Hanged One) is revealed here amidst many pious rationalizations for this extreme hatred based in delusional allegations of "not rivers, but oceans" of "Klal Yisael's blood" spilled by "Yeshu's" followers over the centuries "just because they were 'Jews'" ("Yeshu" being the hateful acronym for "may his [Jesus'] name be blotted out"). The depth and intensity of the rabbis' hatred for Jesus Christ strains credulity. What a solid basis for religious relations! What a fraud Benedict and the bishops are involved in.
Teves And Saddam

BY RAV ARYEHZ. GINZBERG

CHOFETZ CHAIM TORAH CENTER

Timing is everything. As Torah Jews, we accept certain beliefs of ours as the ultimate truth. One of these is that everything that happens in the world happens for Klal Yisrael—“ha’kol bishvil Yisrael.” Another truth is that every-thing that happens is all for the good of Klal Yisrael—“kol d’avad Shemaya, le’tav avad.” While at times it’s hard to see the “good,” especially in painful times, we know and believe in the depths of our collective neshamos that it is truly and completely good (and we will surely one day soon merit to finally understand all these painful events).

What is not that well known is that everything that happens to Klal Yisrael, for the good of Klal Yisrael, happens at a specific moment in time that also has great significance for us. A prominent example of just such timing is the selection of the month of Adar by the evil Haman to carry out his plan for the “final solution” of Klal Yisrael. But the choice of Adar, a significant month for the good mazal of Klal Yisrael, actually worked against him and helped turn around his plan “from yagon to simcha.”

The hanging several days ago of Saddam Hussein, a decades-old enemy of Klal Yisrael, was not only an event of great significance, but its very timing was significant, as well.

We should never forget even for a moment the depth of this rasha’s hatred for Klal Yisrael. Recall the raining down of Scud missiles on Eretz Yisrael more than a decade ago during the first Gulf War and the terrible fear that every Jew in Eretz Yisrael lived with day in and day out for weeks at end. Then there was the reward of $20,000 paid to every family of a suicide bomber after their murderous acts were performed, as an incentive for others to follow. The largest construction project for a new mosque built in one of the Arab villages in years was financed by this rasha as a reward for their having provided the most suicide bombers from one town (yemach shemam).

And so while we can take a deep sigh of relief (at least for the moment) at his death, it is important for us to focus briefly on the timing of his death. The Ramban writes that we can learn more about HaKadosh Baruch Hu’s plans for Klal Yisrael from the timing of events than from the events themselves.

My son Dovid Simcha came home on Asarah B’Teves, a day when Klal Yisrael remembers the day when a siege was laid upon the Beis HaMikdash by Nevuchadnetzar’s army, which finally destroyed the Beis HaMikdash three and a half years later, on Tishah B’Av.

This rasha, Saddam Hussein, made the very arrogant and frightful claim years ago that he is a reincarnation of his ancestor Nevuchadnetzar and will complete the job of removing Klal Yisrael from the face of the earth. How from yeshiva on Asarah B’Teves and shared with us an insight from his wonderful rebbi (Rav Shimon Finkelman), the sixth-grade rebbi at the wonderful Yeshiva Darchei Torah. The rebbi commented on the timing of Saddam’s burial befitting to have his burial on the very day that we remember the evil of his infamous ancestor of more than two thousand years ago!

Allow me to share an insight of my own. The actual day of Saddam’s hanging was an auspicious day, as well, for Klal Yisrael. The pre-dawn hanging took place on the day of the Jewish calendar known as tes Teves, the ninth day of Teves. The Mishnah in Maseches Ta‘anis mentions three consecutive days of ta‘anis, the only days of the year of consecutive fast days: the 8th, 9th, and 10th days of Teves. Today we only fast on the third of these days, which is Asarah B’Teves.

The Shulchan Aruch (Orach Chaim 580:2) in describing the difficult fast days of the year makes reference to these three days, and when it comes to the 9th day of Teves, the mechaber writes “it’s not known which terrible events took place on that day to warrant a fast day.” (The same language is to be found in the Tur and in the Behag). The Mishnah Berurah, in quoting from the Magen Avraham, comments that we find in the Selichos which we recite on Asarah B’Teves that Ezra HaSofer died that day. (As to why the Tur and the Shulchan Aruch did not make reference to this fact of Ezra HaSofer’s death, see Derashos Chasam Sofer and Sefer Ohr Gedalyah on Asarah B’Teves for an insightful explanation).

However, there is another explanation found in rishonim as to what the tragic events of the 9th day of Teves were, that makes it easier to understand why the Shulchan Aruch chose to write the words “we do not know what tragic event took place on that day.”

The Tosfeos Chadashim (on Maseches Ta‘anis) explains that the birth of “Yeshu HaNatzri” took place on tekufas Teves, which on the year of his birth fell out on the 9th day of Teves. Our Chachamim decreed a ta‘anis on that very day for all the pain and suffering that Klal Yisrael would go through at the hands of his followers over the millennia. Not rivers, but oceans of blood have been spilled by the followers of the church in every corner of the world—through blood libels, pogroms, crusades, inquisitions, and forced conversions. Taking all of this suffering into account, the fast of the ninth day of Teves has that much more significance to us.

We can now understand why the Tur and Shulchan Aruch wrote that the tragic events of this day are not known, for it would be instant death at the hands of the Christian censors to write such “blasphemy,” and so they instead chose to write that the events of that day are not known to us.

While there is no direct source for this being the date of Yeshu’s birth, the sefarim ha’kedoshim reveal it to us in the acronym of his description itself. He is referred to in sifrei rishonim (see Terumas HaDeshen, Meiri in his introduction to Avos, and Tosefos HaRosh in Sotah 47a) as the “Nitel one” (meaning the one who was hanged). The four letters of the Hebrew spelling of “nitel” spell out the words “Nolad Yeshu Tes LeTeves” (“Yeshu was born on the 9th day of Teves”).

As to the specific year of his birth, there is much discussion in the rishonim, as well. Some rishonim claim that he was a student of Rabbi Yehoshuaben Perachia, who lived about 180 years before the churban Bayis Sheini (see Raavad in Sefer Kabballah, Sefer Eshkol, Tosefos Chachmei Angliah on Sanhedrin 77a), and others claim he lived in the days of Hilni Hamalkah around 70 years before the churban (see Tosefos HaRosh Sotah 47a; Hagahos HaYaivetz, Avodah Zara 17a) (A more detailed explanation of Yesha’s life and death in the words of Chazal are beyond the purview of our discussion, and will iy’H be discussed in greater detail in a subsequent article.)

So tekufas Teves is a period in the Jewish calendar that not only ushers in the winter season but brings along a dark period where the world is filled with what the Chachmei Kabbalah refer to as “Klipas HaTumah.” It is during this period that the negative forces of spiritual impurity are allowed to penetrate even the atmosphere of
kedushah in Klal Yisrael, hence the ancient minhag of Chassidim of not learning Torah on nitel nacht. And it is only in such a period of Tekufas Teves, of spiritual impurity, that such a powerful force of tumah could be created that would wreak havoc and destruction on Klal Yisrael for 2,000 years.

There are various minhagim as to when nitel nacht actually is. Some hold it’s December 25; others hold January 6 (some, like the Minchas Elazar, hold both); however, the early mekubalim actually hold it’s on tekufas Teves itself, which has been identified by the date of the 9th day of Teves.

And so I wondered, what is the message to us that the Nevuchadnetzar of our day—that evil, Jew-hating rasha, Saddam Hussein—was hanged on the very day of tes Teves, the day recorded in sefarim as the birth of the Nitel one (the one who was hanged)!

While Hashem’s ways are hidden from us, I see a possible message of chizuk to us. Over the generations, as our forefathers were murdered and butchered just for being Jews, what did we do? We davened the words “dam avadav yikom,” retribution shall be exacted by Him, by HaKadosh Baruch Hu himself.

Over the last 20 or so years, we suffered Scud attacks and suicide bombers financed by that evil person, and we were unable to respond. Our only response was taking siddur in hand and crying out in unison, “dam avodov yikom.” And what has happened?

In just a few years, without our firing a shot, HaKadosh Baruch Hu has placed one of the chasidei umos ha’olam in the highest position in this country, and that rasha in Iraq has been brought to his knees, humiliated, and finally hanged on the gallows—not just at any time, but on tes Teves, the day of the birth of the “Nitel one.”

Just maybe the hopeful message to us is that HaKadosh Baruch Hu will continue to be yikom, to exact retribution on all the evil forces that have caused us so much suffering over so many years. The navi promises us that the very day of Asarah B’Teves, which is referred to as the day of “aschalta deperunsia” (the beginning of our punishment) will one day be turned into a day of yagon, sasson, and simcha for all eternity. May it happen speedily in our day!

St. John The Baptist Contra Benedict XVI

"And seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, [John the Baptist] said to them: Ye brood of vipers, who hath shewed you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of penance. And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham for our father. For I tell you that God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham. For now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that doth not yield good fruit, shall be cut down, and cast into the fire" (Matthew 3:7-10; Luke 3:7-9).

St. John the Baptist said these words to people who were true physical descendants of Abraham. He chastised them for their racial pride telling them that their descent from Abraham profits them nothing without repentance and good fruits and that God can raise up anyone--even stones--to be Israel if it pleases Him to do so.

Now, let us turn to Benedict XVI seeing many Pharisees of counterfeit Israel coming to him who claim to have Abraham for their father but do not, who produce rotten fruits in abundance and who are notoriously unrepentant. Benedict revels with them in their delusion telling them:

Dear friends, it is with great pleasure that I meet with you this evening ... we share a relationship that should be strengthened and lived ... we know that these fraternal bonds constitute a continual invitation to know and to respect one another better ... the Catholic Church ... respects the children of the Promise, the children of the Covenant, as her beloved brothers and sisters in the faith ...

Learn how many of Benedict XVI's beloved elder brothers and sisters in the rabbinic faith who he calls "children of the Promise," and "children of the Covenant," secretly express their hatred towards Jesus Christ and His followers on Christmas Eve:

Black Hats Impose Their Metal and PVC Eyesores 2008

To the "goyim" the black hats say these ugly structures that they put up in front of U.S. official buildings are symbols of "light" and "unity" of "the nations." But, among themselves they say:

"It's a brazen mark of influence, especially as the menorah lighting claims to speak for an American Jewish community that traditionally has been uncomfortable with displays of belief on public land." ("Chabad's man makes mark in D.C.," Ron Kampeas, Washington Jewish Week, December 12, 2005)

Yes, and it's also a brazen mark of chutzpah and hypocrisy, given that the "displays of belief" that the "American Jewish Community" is most "uncomfortable" with, based upon the incessant shrieking and litigation, are Christian symbols. I haven't witnessed discomfort with these ridiculous 20 and 30 foot-tall metal and PVC menorahs in front of court buildings, the White House, etc., on the part of the "American Jewish Community."

Rama Coomaraswamy and the Great Game

Carrie Tomko has written on a topic I've been researching for a while but haven't mentioned so far due to a few research difficulties.

Rama Coomaraswamy, son of alleged Aleister Crowley associate Ananda Coomaraswamy, was at the center of the splintering of the traditional Catholic movement into warring factions at the time when it's leverage was the strongest. He was quite similar to his friend Malachi Martin in the depth of his deception and subversion, his skill as a masquerader, the damage he caused, and how he was able to pull it off with many of the victims of his swindle regarding him as a saint. He was a true "Kim:" Freemason Rudyard Kipling's character in his book by the same name. Please read Carrie Tomko's blog posting and especially the comments section which I've added to here:

http://carrietomko.blogspot.com/2008/12/dangers-of-far-right-some-of-you-may.html

Anyone who can help fill in some of the blanks in this story please email me:

mauricepinay@yahoo.com

I'm particularly interested in Rama's grandfather Muthu Coomaraswamy who was a politician in Columbo Sri Lanka, knighted by Queen Victoria (as were two of Ananda Coomaraswamy's cousins). Also of interest is Jose Ramon Lopez-Gaston who presided over the strange ordination ritual involving Rama Coomaraswamy and Malachi Martin documented here:

http://www.the-pope.com/validity.html

Also of interest is Rama Coomaraswamy's 38 yr. affiliation with Yeshiva University where he was an assistant professor of cardiology and psychology. This is not too remarkable given that his mother was of Judaic descent (Luisa Runstein) which would qualify him in the eyes of the yidden as a "Jew" (Malachi Martin also claimed Judaic descent):

Rama P. Coomaraswamy, born in 1929, received his early education in an orthodox Hindu school in India. He then lived in England (where he obtained his Oxford Matriculation) and in the USA (where he graduated in geology from Harvard University). Then he studied medicine, graduating in 1959, and spent eight years in medical training, and then thirty years as a heart surgeon and assistant professor at the Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York. Because of his own heart ailment, he retired from surgery but retained his position as assistant professor in psychiatry in the same college.

http://www.ias.ac.in/currsci/feb102008/394.pdf

In the audio interview with fellow Sophia Perennis traveller, William Kennedy, linked to below, Rama Coomaraswamy speaks of his association with Malachi Martin. He also randomly offers a tale about Aleister Crowley calling for a Catholic priest on his deathbed(!?!) There are many tales circulating regarding strange phenomenon related to Crowley's death; that he cursed his doctor for withholding heroin and caused his death, etc., but this is the wildest I've heard--Aleister Crowley died repentant in the bosom of the Roman Catholic Church! (and was subsequently cremated). Rama Coomaraswamy has said it! Rama also describes the change of the words of consecration in the new Mass with the curious phrase, "chutzpah." He has described the change in the same way in other interviews:

http://www.lulu.com/content/180832

Like Malachi Martin, Rama Coomaraswamy was a prankster who preyed on the credulous.

News From the Occupied Pennsylvania Diocese

If some wealthy Catholics were to donate millions of dollars (yeah, right!) to Yeshiva University earmarked for the construction of a center for remembrance of the Bolshevik/Soviet Holocaust against Russian, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Armenian and other Christian ethnic groups and how the rabbis' genocidal, racist teachings paved the road to that Holocaust via Moses Hess and Freemasonry, they would surely build it in the spirit of reciprocity and fairness ... wouldn't they?

In truth, even that wouldn't bring parity which isn't even desirable to begin with. 'Jewish'-Catholic relations is completely irredeemable. A total fraud.

"Tikkun Olam" indeed.

Cherished friends

Seton Hill President JoAnne Boyle calls Ethel LeFrak and her family "cherished friends" of the university.

Cherished, indeed.

Mrs. LeFrak, of New York City, has donated $750,000 to Seton Hill's National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education.

The money will go toward endowing the Greensburg center's Ethel LeFrak Holocaust Education Conference and creating The Ethel LeFrak Student Scholars of the Holocaust Fund.

The conference, held every three years, is for teachers and faculty members, mainly at Catholic schools. The intent is to enhance Catholic-Jewish understanding.

The fund will provide annual scholarships for students studying the Holocaust and related subjects.

The National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education is the only center of its kind. It was established in 1987.

One of the founders was Sister Gemma Del Duca, a Greensburg native and a Sister of Charity who now lives in Israel. She said in a statement from the university: "Ethel LeFrak's generosity will help with the challenge that remains before us -- to join our Jewish sisters and brothers in the great task of 'Tikkun Olam,' the mending of the world through reconciliation, understanding and education."

Mrs. LeFrak and her family are involved in a number of philanthropic endeavors. Seton Hill granted her an honorary doctorate in 1996. ("Good Morning: East," Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, December 04, 2008)

... Year-round, Catholic and Jewish high schools in the [Western Pennsylvania] region have an exchange program in which rabbis visit Catholic schools and priests visit Jewish schools to educate students about their religious differences and similarities. They've shared in holiday traditions, such as the Catholic students taking part in a Passover Seder meal.

"Because we share a common history with Judaism, it was thought that we should try to honor that by getting together," said Don Teti, assistant superintendent for secondary schools in the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh.

Near the holidays, Linda Pricer, principal and teacher at St. Bartholomew Catholic School in Penn Hills, incorporates a lesson about the Holocaust into her eighth-grade literature class.

"It's mostly for tolerance," she said. "To teach the students that we have to step up and that if there's ever going to be a change in this world, we have to do it. When better to teach that lesson than now, during the holidays, when there is so much love and giving?" ("Season gives teachers chance to teach cultural differences," Allison M. The Rabbis' Anti-Black Teachings of Hatred in Practice

News from "Israel:"

Border Guard officers of Ethiopian descent report rising number of racially motivated verbal attacks from Hebron youths; Druze officers also suffer racist remarks ... "Niggers don't expel Jews! This isn't what we brought you to Israel for!" are just some of the degrading slurs Border Guard officers reported hearing from masked settlers.

Judaic apologists for these reports are leading "goys" down a dead end, hairsplitting over the translation and etymology of the term "Cush" and whether this would directly translate to English as "nigger." This is besides the fact that a large percentage of Hebron settlers are from the U.S., speak English as their first language and have as clear an understanding of the meaning and use of the term "nigger" as any American.

Many settlers came from America, believing they were ordained by God to take back the whole of their biblical land, and if they cede ground in Hebron, then Jews could lose all of Israel. "We are the head of the spear," says Nomi Horovitz, "guarding not only Hebron but all of our country." ("Over Their dead Bodies," Time, Nov. 04, 1996)

http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,985411-2,00.html

There is no biblical basis for the anti-black racism demonstrated by these Israeli "settlers." The foundations of this racism is with the sages of rabbinic Judaism and their racist writings.

see: Judaism Discovered, pp. 499-501; 505-513

and:

Dr. Tony Martin: African slave trade

What we have here is a fine example of the dispensational, situation "ethics" aspect of Judaism at work. The Israeli "settlers" who today smear African people as "niggers" wouldn't dare use that term openly against African-Americans when they lived in Long Island, or Los Angeles. The Israeli dispensation is different than the "diaspora" U.S. dispensation. In the U.S. where Judaics are a small minority they form golems out of the many "tribes" and pit them against each other thereby strengthening their "tribe" and weakening the others. This is why in the U.S., African-Americans can often be seen with a rabbi's arm around them, kosher-approving them and empowering them, granting them nearly the same P.C. protected status that Judaics themselves enjoy.

Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel (2nd from r.) and Martin Luther King, Jr. (4th from r.) in the Selma to Montgomery "Civil Rights" March in 1965.

See: Kabbalist Vatican II, "Civil Rights" Change Agent Honored

But in Hebron, where Judaics are an empowered majority and the other tribes are already weakened and disadvantaged, the traditions and mandates of Judaism, which might otherwise cause a backlash if practiced openly where Judaics are a minority, come to the fore.

This dispensational system is clearly laid out by Moses Maimonides in the Mishneh Torah Avodat Kochavim where he mandates that Judaic doctors are forbidden from offering medical attention to dying non-Judaics, even for pay, plain and simple. But what is a Judaic doctor to do if following this crazy, racist mandate were to cause him difficulty or cause "The Jews" to be viewed negatively, say in a nation of empowered "Gentiles" where Judaics are a minority? Maimonides has accounted for this: ' ... but if you fear him or his hostility, cure him for payment, though you are forbidden to do so without payment' (cf Shahak, Jewish History, Jewish Religion) and see:

New York Times Reveals Talmudic Basis for Legalistic Murder of Goys, Fake Benevolence
.

Such base tribalism, insane situation ethics and deception from these "covenant people," "eternally persecuted," "elder brothers in the faith" is unfathomable to most non-Judaics, particularly Christians. Today, the Vatican and most western authorities are complicit in perpetuating this confusion.

Settlers to Ethiopian troops: Niggers don't expel Jews

Border Guard officers of Ethiopian descent report rising number of racially motivated verbal attacks from Hebron youths; Druze officers also suffer racist remarks

Danny Adino Ababa - Israel News

Not only do they serve long and tiring hours in the reserve forces, and not only are they forced to deal with violent clashes with settlers, but now, Border Guard officers of Ethiopian descent are also faced with rising racism.

"Niggers don't expel Jews! This isn't what we brought you to Israel for!" are just some of the degrading slurs Border Guard officers reported hearing from masked settlers.

During the violent clashes between Israeli forces and settlers in Hebron on Tuesday "a bunch of veiled people started yelling at us: Who are you to expel us from our home? An Ethiopian does not expel a Jew! A nigger does not expel a Jew!" one Border Guard officer of Ethiopian descent recounted.

"I just didn't know what to do with myself," he said.

Officers 'deeply offended' by remarks

And it turns out this was not the only such incident to take place. Another officer reported that while arriving to make an arrest about a week and-a-half ago, a group of youths verbally attacked him saying, "Who told you to come and evacuate us? You Ethiopians. What are you, this State's niggers? Olmert's niggers?"

The officers said they were deeply offended by these remarks, but stressed that the ones making them were settler youths coming from outside of Hebron, and not the residents of the Jewish settlement or Kiryat Arba, who have treated them with respect.

Border Guard sources reported that racist remarks were also made against Druze soldiers. "We knew that this would happen so we instructed our officers in advance," said a source.

"We harshly condemn those extremists that bring a bad name to an entire public by using racial slurs against Border Guard fighters that spend night and day protecting residents of the West Bank.

"As part of the preparations for the mission the fighters were instructed to ignore such comments and carry out their mission with the utmost professionalism."

Ethnic Ashkenazim Against Zionist Israel: Dr Jim West: Maybe They Would Like to be Spit On Too…

This links to a brief article on a topic which thankfully is getting a bit more exposure, that being the practice of spitting at Christians and crosses worn around their necks common among Orthodox Judaics in the Zionist state.

For more on this and similar centuries-old traditions of Orthodox Judaism intended to humiliate Christians and desecrate and curse Christian churches and symbols see: Reckless Rites, by Elliot Horowitz, Jewish History Jewish Religion, by Israel Shahak and Judaism Discovered, by Michael A. Hoffman.

Catholic.org Publishes Hagiography for Rabbi of Racial-Supremacist Genocidal Anti-Christ Messianic Judaism

Chabad Lubavitch is a sect of Judaism which embodies all of the worst elements of genocidal, racial-supremacist, anti-Christ, messianic Judaism to the most extreme degree, and here we have a remarkable hagiography for a Chabad black hat couched within Orwellian accolades for the Chabad hate organization penned by a "Hebrew Catholic" and published by a popular nominal Catholic website. This is the Chabad sect which is lobbying and subverting governments and religious institutions around the world, spreading the phony "Noahide Laws" according to which true Christians should be punished for "idolatry" by decapitation HERE.

It's outrageous, of course, but not nearly as outrageous as the Pope inviting one of the most prominent members of this hate group, Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, to speak at the Vatican as he did in 2002 HERE and 2005 HERE, or to invite a rabbi devotee of Chabad's dead "messiah" Menachem Schneerson to teach at a synod of bishops as he did HERE and HERE.

The "Association of Hebrew Catholics," which the author of this profoundly insane article belongs to, is stamped kosher by bishops Raymond Burke, Carl Mengeling and John Paul II.

Hebrew Catholic Honors Rabbi Holtzburg, Killed in Mumbai

By Athol Bloomer

11/30/2008

Catholic Online (www.catholic.org)

As a Catholic Jew I felt the pain that all Jews are feeling at this time. It may be strange but there is a sense in which Jews share in the joys and sufferings of all other Jews.

St. Louis, Mo. (Catholic Online) - As I write this here in the Hebrew Catholic Center in St Louis I am still in shock about the murder of the young Chabad Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzburg and his wife Rivka Holtzburg. In recent months I have been following the terrible persecution and killing of Christians in India by Hindu fundamentalists. The media hardly seems to mention what is happening. Now we see such violent Islamist terror attacks in Mumbai (or Bombay as most of us call it).

I learned on Saturday that one of the places attacked was the Nariman Chabad House in Mumbai. Then, we heard of the little two year old son of the Holtlzbergs being safe but that his trousers were soaked in blood. Then a Carmelite nun of Jewish ancestry sent me the news report of the death of the Rabbi and his wife. As a Catholic Jew I felt the pain that all Jews are feeling at this time. It may be strange but there is a sense in which Jews share in the joys and sufferings of all other Jews. As someone who has known many Chabad Jews and studied with Chabad Rabbis and been fed by them at Chabad Houses I felt it more keenly perhaps than some.

Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg were emissaries of the Lubavitch Chabad movement who gave up their homes and families in order to serve in far off India. They ran food programs, drug prevention programs, medical services, prison and hospital visitations and classes on Jewish learning among many other things. Now, this wonderful young couple, are dead and the world has lost two workers for the good and the light in a world growing darker.

While I didn’t know them personally I know others like them.

When I lived in Thailand I would attend the Synagogue and the Chabad House in Bangkok and I saw the dedication and commitment of the Chabad Rabbis and their families. I attend the huge Passover Seders at which everyone was welcome. They helped all in need not just religious Jews – secular Jews and non-Jews with no discrimination. Many Jewish communities around the world would have no Rabbis at all if not for the Chabad Rabbis who will go anywhere in the world to serve God and the Rebbe. For example an orthodox Jewish family I stayed with each weekend in the 1980’s assisted the Chabad in reviving the Jewish community in Tasmania that had almost died out.

They are known as the 'Black Army of the Rebbe' as they follow the teachings of the seven Rebbes of Lubavitch and especially those of their late Tzadik, Rebbe Menachem Schneersohn. A Rebbe or Tzadik is the spiritual leader of a Hasidic group who follows the way of love, joy, simplicity and mercy in worshipping God as taught by the founder of Hasidism - the Baal Shem Tov of the 17th century. The first Lubavitch Rebbe was Schneur Zalman of Liadi known as the Alter Rebbe and the author of the mystical book called “Tanya”. He took the ‘heart’ teachings of Hasidism and introduced a more intellectual approach called Chabad.

Chabad stands for Chokmah(Wisdom), Binah (Understanding) and Daat (Knowledge) which represents the Divine Face of the Divine Man in Jewish mysticism. The seventh and last Rebbe of Chabad encouraged many young people to give their lives in the service of God and Judaism by becoming emissaries (apostles) to the Jews spread throughout the world. Rabbi Holtzberg and his wife were two such young people.

I remember sitting in the 1980’s with Chabad Rabbi Finman in Melbourne Australia [who I was studying with] as he translated the Rebbe’s inspiring teachings from Yiddish into English for the whole Yeshivah. I was inspired that day as Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka were inspired by the Rebbe to give their lives to God’s service. The rebbe inspired in us a devotion to the Mashiach (Messiah). Now through the evil of others they have become Jewish martyrs and given their blood for God and the Jewish people.

I pray that their sacrifice will bring others to God and that from this tragedy will come good fruit. Let us pray for their souls and the souls of all the others lost in this terror onslaught and for their loved ones to be consoled. The Jewish custom is to say Psalms on behalf of the dead so maybe we could all say a Psalm for them too.

Bishop Denied Entry into Gaza

The Israeli "heightened state of security," which translates to mean the Israelis are crushing the Palestinians more than usual, apparently serves as cover for an Israeli jab at the Vatican. What a shameful situation it is for the Vatican maintaining an illusion that "Jewish"-Christian relations is mutually beneficial and committed towards advancing morality in the world.

Top Latin archbishop denied entry to Gaza

By Rula Samain -Jordan Times

25 November 2008

AMMAN - The Israeli authorities on Sunday barred Papal Nuncio Archbishop Antonio Franco from leading a mass with the local Christians at a church in Gaza, sources said.

The archbishop, who is also the apostolic delegate in Jerusalem and Palestine, has been in Palestine for almost three years.

The incident is the first of its kind. “The trip is not of a diplomatic kind,” Father Humam Khzouz, a Jordanian priest based in Palestine, who was accompanying the archbishop on his trip, said over the phone from Jerusalem on Monday.

“It was largely a spiritual mission to celebrate a mass with the locals who were looking forward to spending holy time with the archbishop,” he told The Jordan Times. At the moment, the parish in Gaza is vacant since its priest Monsignor Manuel Mussallam was allowed to visit his family in Birzeit after spending eight years in Gaza.

It was also the first time the 300 worshippers at the “Holy Family” church were left without a Sunday mass.

“This is a disrespect to all diplomatic ties between Israel and the Vatican, as well as a violation against the rights of the Christians in Gaza, who have the right to hold their rituals freely,” Amman-based Roman Catholic priest Rifat Bader told The Jordan Times.

Father Khzouz said: “I, along with the three priests, have service passports which allow us to travel without previous arrangements with the Israeli authority.”

On the other hand, he added, the archbishop has an official diplomatic passport accredited from the Israeli foreign ministry.

Nevertheless, contacts were held with Israeli officials from the foreign ministry three days prior to the papal nuncio’s visit to Gaza.

“The Israeli authorities knew of our visit since Tuesday,” Father Khzouz said. “Still,” he added, “they [the Israeli authorities] left us waiting at the Erez crossing for almost three hours,” while the Israelis allowed other delegations “to enter and leave Gaza on the same day”.

“We were standing there [at the Erez Crossing] barred from entering Gaza while the UN, Red Cross and other officials were permitted in and out of the strip,” Father Khzouz said.

“It could be sensed that this behaviour on the part of Israel is meant as a negative message to the Vatican,” Father Bader said.

Xavier, Hebrew Union to collaborate on academics

Tuesday, November 18, 2008

Business Courier

Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and Xavier University have formed an academic collaborative to offer classes on each other’s campuses, the two Cincinnati schools said Tuesday.

The collaborative was spearheaded by Rabbi David Ellenson, president of the Jewish rabbinical seminary, and the Rabbi David Ellenson, president of the Jesuit-run university, according to a news release. A $750,000 grant from the Macy’s Foundation is helping to fund the initiative.

In phase one, Hebrew Union faculty members will provide courses on Xavier’s campus, allowing the university to offer a minor in Jewish studies. In phase two, Xavier faculty members will offer undergraduate and graduate courses at Hebrew Union, enabling its students to enroll in certain XU professional programs like education and business administration.

“It is in this spirit of ecumenicism, reconciliation and hope – and with the conviction that both our Catholic and Jewish traditions require that we do the work of the Divine in this world – that an exciting and unprecedented partnership between this great Catholic university and this venerable Jewish seminary has been created,” Ellenson said in the release.

Xavier University, a liberal arts university founded in 1831, has about 6,650 graduate and undergraduate students. Hebrew Union, founded in 1875, has learning centers in Cincinnati, New York, Los Angeles and Jerusalem.

Rishon Lezion: Thousands of Ecstasy pills seized in synagogues

Drugs found in ceiling, bathroom of local synagogues; police say dealers planned to sell pills at upcoming party

Eli Senyor - Yediot Ahronot

November 15, 2008

Some 6,000 Ecstasy pills were seized Friday during a police raid on two synagogues in Rishon Lezion's Shikun Hamizrach neighborhood.

Local police, who were tipped off about the drugs a few days ago, found 3,000 Ecstasy pills and a pistol concealed in the ceiling of a synagogue on Shivtei Yisrael Street.

An additional 3,000 pills were found in the bathroom of another synagogue located nearby.

Investigators said the drug dealers, who are still at large, apparently planned to sell the pills at a party that was scheduled to be held in the coming days.

Jerusalem Bishop "Dialogues" with "Religion of Peace" Swindler Riskin

Orthodox Chief Rabbi Meets with Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL - Chief Rabbi of Efrat, Shlomo Riskin, met with Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Fouad Twal for the first time since the Archbishop took the position in June of this year. Rabbi Riskin congratulated the Latin Patriarch on his new appointment and expressed the Jewish community's willingness to work with Catholic Church to foster better relations between the faiths to "promote a religion of peace."

Archbishop Twal expressed his delight that Rabbi Riskin opened the first Orthodox Jewish center to theologically dialogue with Christians and is looking forward in exploring ways that both Judaism and Christianity can work together.

Former Terrorist Irgun Gang Member Weighs in on His Son's Appointment as White House Chief of Staff

In an interview with Ma'ariv, [Obama Chief of Staff Rahm] Emanuel's father, Dr. Benjamin Emanuel, said he was convinced that his son's appointment would be good for Israel. "Obviously he will influence the president to be pro-Israel," he was quoted as saying. "Why wouldn't he be? What is he, an Arab? He's not going to clean the floors of the White House."

The Ma'ariv article also quoted Dr. Emanuel as saying that his son spends most summers visiting in Tel Aviv, and that he speaks Hebrew, but not fluently. ("Emanuel to be Obama's chief of staff," by AP and Jpost staff, Jerusalem Post, Nov 6, 2008)

Wiesenthal Center to Build "Museum" Dedicated to "Tolerance and Coexistence" on Top of Muslim Cemetery Despite Protests

Orwellian hypocrisy and double standards; adjudication according to precedent rather than just principles ... this is "governance" in "Israel," and now also in the kosher United States.

Rabbi Hier of the Simon Weisenthal Center wouldn't spend one penny of "his" money to build this preposterous "tolerance museum" on top of a Muslim graveyard or anywhere else. It's all financed by the mega-millions accrued to the Weisenthal coffer through shakedown tactics and fund-raising via fearmongering. It's time that the foolish "Jews" who lavish cash upon this crazy institution and many others like it take some responsibility and wake up to the fact that Rabbi Heir is creating hostility and then angling to "protect" "The Jews" from it--for a fee, of course. He's a "solution" that creates its own problem.

Many people around the world are snapping out of the spell of the phony Zionist "war on terror." When will "The Jews" snap out of the rabbis' "protection" racket spell?

For Christians, this is a temporal parallel to the war the rabbis are waging in the spiritual and ideological spheres with the assistance of the pope and bishops. They're burying Christianity underneath their abominable "Noahide" Holocaustolatry contrivance HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE.

Wiesenthal Center gets green light to build museum on ancient Muslim cemetery

Associated Press

The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave a final go ahead to the creation of a Jerusalem museum dedicated to tolerance and coexistence, rejecting appeals by Muslims who object to construction because the site covers part of an ancient Muslim cemetery.

A court statement said judges ruled that since no objections had been lodged in 1960 when the city put a parking lot over a small section of the graveyard they would not block construction of the museum on that same site now.

The Museum of Tolerance aims to bridge this contentious city's warring tribes together. But its planning alone has sparked a fight with political, religious and historical dimensions between Muslims and Jews.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Los Angeles-based Jewish organization behind the project, welcomed the court ruling and said work on the $250 million museum would resume immediately after a two-year delay caused by the legal proceedings.

"All citizens of Israel, Jews and non-Jews, are the real beneficiaries of this decision," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder of the Wiesenthal Center, in a statement.

Obama's first pick: Israeli Rahm Emanuel as chief of staff

Anshel Pfeffer and Shlomo Shamir - Haaretz

A day after his historic election to become the first black American president, Barack Obama stepped into the role of president-elect yesterday, inviting Rahm Emanuel to join his administration as White House chief of staff, Democratic officials said.

Emanuel, a former Bill Clinton adviser, is the son of [Benjamin M. Emanuel] a Jerusalem-born pediatrician who was a member of the Irgun (Etzel or IZL), a militant Zionist group that operated in Palestine between 1931 and 1948.

Let there be no doubt that Rahm Emanuel is still a sayanim whose capacity to serve "Israel" has just grown enormously.

Benedict XVI: Dialogue With the People of the Talmud a "Sacred Duty"

Benedict is preaching an anti-Gospel here. Christians have a sacred duty to evangelize. There is no sacred duty to "dialogue." Benedict has drawn this idea of a "sacred duty" of intereligious "dialogue" not from any Christian text but from the Summa Nonsensica of the Hasidic psuedo-philosopher, Martin Buber who Benedict values more than the philosopher of the Church, St. Thomas.

Here is where the Hasidic path of "dialogue" leads:

The Dialogical Path Towards Disaster

True Christians do not share a spiritual patrimony with Pharisees as Benedict once again proclaims here. Jesus Christ said the Pharisees' spiritual father is the father of lies, the Devil. Benedict, like Martin Buber and the Bal Shem Tov who he modeled, is attempting to conjoin irreconcilable opposites into a pagan, yin yang microcosm of the pagan yin yang god of Judaism:

"The indwelling Glory [of god] embraces all worlds, all creatures, good and evil. And it is the true Unity. How then, you ask, can it bear in itself the opposites of good and evil? But in truth there is no opposite, for Evil is the throne of Good." (Martin Buber, Hasidism and Modern Man, p. 200)

"We then found the philosophy of personalism reiterated with renewed conviction in the great Jewish thinker Martin Buber. This encounter with personalism was for me a spiritual experience that left an essential mark, especially since I spontaneously associated such personalism with the thought of Saint Augustine, who in his Confessions had struck me with the power of all his human passion and depth. By contrast, I had difficulties in penetrating the thought of Thomas Aquinas, whose crystal-clear logic seemed to me to be too closed in on itself, too impersonal and ready-made." (Benedict XVI, Milestones, p.44)

Pope Calls Dialogue a Sacred Duty

Notes Advances in Jewish-Catholic Relations

VATICAN CITY, OCT. 30, 2008 (Zenit.org).- Benedict XVI says interreligious dialogue is becoming more and more a sacred duty in a troubled world.

The Pope affirmed this today when he addressed the International Jewish Committee on Interreligious Consultations, a group that has worked with the Holy See for more than 30 years, contributing to "greater understanding and acceptance between Catholics and Jews."

"Christians today are increasingly conscious of the spiritual patrimony they share with the people of the Torah, the people chosen by God in his inexpressible mercy, a patrimony that calls for greater mutual appreciation, respect and love," the Holy Father said. "Jews too are challenged to discover what they have in common with all who believe in the Lord, the God of Israel, who first revealed himself through his powerful and life-giving word."

That word, he continued, "spurs us to bear common witness to God’s love, mercy and truth. This is a vital service in our own time, threatened by the loss of the spiritual and moral values which guarantee human dignity, solidarity, justice and peace."

Benedict XVI encouraged the committee in their efforts to foster dialogue between religions.

"In our troubled world, so frequently marked by poverty, violence and exploitation, dialogue between cultures and religions must more and more be seen as a sacred duty incumbent upon all those who are committed to building a world worthy of man," he said. "The ability to accept and respect one another, and to speak the truth in love, is essential for overcoming differences, preventing misunderstandings and avoiding needless confrontations. […] A sincere dialogue needs both openness and a firm sense of identity on both sides, in order for each to be enriched by the gifts of the other."

The Holy Father said he thanks God for recent meetings he has had with Jewish communities in New York, Paris and the Vatican, "and for the progress in Catholic-Jewish relations which they reflect."

"In this spirit, then," he concluded, "I encourage you to persevere in your important work with patience and renewed commitment."

Next month in Hungary, the International Jewish Committee on Interreligious Consultations will meet with the Vatican Commission for Religious Relations With the Jews on the theme "Religion and Civil Society."

Benedict to Have Cordial Meeting With Slanderer of Christianity

This hater of Christendom teaches religion at Mount Saint Mary College in NY.

Prior to Vatican II (the Second Vatican Council), the Catholic Church was actually teaching anti-semitic ideas that laid the groundwork for the Holocaust," [Rabbi] Polish said.

Rabbi will join Vatican sojourn

By Greg Marano • Poughkeepsie Journal • October 26, 2008

LAGRANGEVILLE - In his lifetime, Rabbi Daniel Polish has seen the Jewish and Catholic faiths heal some old rifts.

This week, he'll be in Vatican City helping continue that work.

Polish, 66, rabbi at Congregation Shir Chadash in the Town of LaGrange, will be among a small group of rabbis meeting with Pope Benedict XVI to discuss relations between the two religions.

"This is, I think, a very sensitive moment in Catholic-Jewish relations," Polish said. "There is this tension that we need to talk with one another about."

Polish will be traveling on the pope's invitation as a member of the Jewish Committee on Interreligious Consultations.

He said he looks forward to talking to the pope about issues such as the beatification of Pope Pius XII, who served during World War II and who critics say could have done more to fight the Holocaust.

He also wants to discuss the pope's 2007 reinstitution of the Latin Good Friday liturgy that includes a prayer for Jewish conversion, which has not been given since the Second Vatican Council of the 1960s.

"Here's a prayer that is understood to be for the conversion of the Jews, that had been removed from the Mass," Polish said. "He's reincluded this prayer, which is offensive to the religious sensibilities of the Jews" ...

"Prior to Vatican II (the Second Vatican Council), the Catholic Church was actually teaching anti-semitic ideas that laid the groundwork for the Holocaust," Polish said. "Now the church has repudiated those ideas. That's a profound change; that's a very dramatic change."

"The religious relations between the Jewish community and the Catholic community since Vatican II have been very cordial."

He is scheduled to leave on Tuesday and return on Friday, and said he hopes this mission will further heal the remaining rifts between the two faiths.

One issue he does not hope to discuss is relations between Vatican City and Israel; that's a diplomatic issue, he said, and he wants to focus on the religious ones.

Polish teaches Hebrew scriptures and world religion at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, and says this fact alone is evidence of how far relations between the Catholic and Jewish religions have come.

"Until Vatican II, you would never have a rabbi teaching at a Catholic institution," he said. "You certainly wouldn't have him teaching a religious subject."

Robert Sungenis Writes ...

Robert Sungenis has written a response to my comments on Benedict XVI's recent Talmud reference in the following two blog postings:

Benedict Cites Talmud Approvingly, Suggests Jesus Acted in Accordance with it

Pope's Diabolical Revolution in Catholic/Jewish Relations

Robert Sungenis' response is here:

http://catholicintl.com/articles/Maurice_Pinay_writes.pdf

Robert Sungenis apparently believes that Benedict XVI was evangelizing a group of rabbis, European "Jewish" Congress members, and other Judaic power-brokers in his September 12, 2008 address to the "Jewish" community at Paris, France. I find this a strange conclusion to draw. These rabbis and EJC characters are so acutely sensitive and hysterically averse to true Christian evangelization of "Jews" that if Benedict actually was attempting to evangelize them it would certainly be detected and would not be tolerated for a second. These people can't even allow the minuscule traditional Catholic minority to pray for them in virtual seclusion on one day of the year.

If Sungenis wants others to believe as he does--that Benedict is evangelizing rabbis and their followers in the same spirit as Jesus Christ and St. Paul--he should offer some evidence that this is so. I haven't seen any. I have, in fact, amassed a mountain of evidence that the contrary is true--that not only is Benedict affirming the errors of the anti-Christ religion of Orthodox Judaism, he's also introducing these errors into the Christian fold; building deep relations between Catholics and "Jews."

But this is besides Benedict's sly misrepresentation of a Talmud passage which Sungenis apparently takes at face value. Sungenis writes:

"... the pope was quite correct in using the Talmud in his discussion with the Jews in France, for what he proposed to them from their own book about the Sabbath was precisely the same argument that Jesus used against the Pharisees. If, in some sections of the Talmud, it can be shown that the statements therein agree with godly principles and Christian truth, it is certainly appropriate to quote them to the people who believe they are authoritative, for you show them that even their own authority agrees with you."

This is a trap into which many investigators of rabbinic texts fall which is dismantled in Judaism Discovered. Benedict has presented only one side of a dialectical argument which does not represent the halachic synthesis. The Talmud passage that Benedict quoted is not authoritative as Sungenis assumes. The rabbis that Benedict addressed know this. Benedict himself cannot be unaware of it. The rabbis--from the time of Christ till the present day--run a Sabbath law tyranny that is as far from Jesus' Gospel teaching as black is from white. This is so patent that I can't believe it needs an explanation. Jesus and the Pharisees were conflicted on the man-made (NOT biblical) pharisaic Sabbath laws because their teachings were completely opposed. Rabbi-contrived Sabbath laws have only become more tyrannical since the time of Christ and they are authoritative.

No, Benedict was not evangelizing those rabbis. He was, as usual, creating confusion in the minds of his own followers by asserting a commonality which does not exist.

Time Magazine Puffs Talmudic Business "Ethics"

Skull and Bones Henry Luce founded Time magazine takes its duplicity to new lows with some timely puff-journalism for talmudic business "ethics." Even now we're led to believe that the Talmud lights the way out of the pit it has led us into.

See:

The Financial Crisis: What Would the Talmud Do? By David Van Biema, Time, Friday, Oct. 10, 2008

This would have been readily detected as fraud by any moderately informed person until fairly recently. Not so in the days when the pope invites the rabbis to teach the Bible to us calling them "brothers in the faith." Could it hurt much worse to also make them the arbiters of business ethics? They're so holy, wise and benevolent--so the bishops say--that only a "'Jew' hater" would ask questions or point out the chasm between Time's Orwellian prose and the realities of talmudic business "ethics" teaching, not to mention actual Orthodox Judaic business practices, of which Rubashkin makes a perfect example.

Being that the U.S. is now trillions of dollars in debt to bankers I searched Time's article to see what it had to say about the rabbinic "Prozbul" and found nothing. The "Prozbul" is the legal fiction concocted by Hillel the Pharisee which reassures bankers that Deuteronomy 15 can not be invoked by those in debt to them. In a turn of duplicity which must be seen as the model for the same exhibited by Time magazine, Talmud states: "Hillel established the prozbul in order to repair the world" (Mishnah Gittin 4;3). In other words, the world has been "repaired" (tikkun olam) by the "liberal," "benevolent" Pharisee Hillel (often compared to Jesus Christ!?!) through his reassurance of bankers that the Bible can not interfere with them burying people in massive amounts of debt over the course of their entire lifetimes.

If you buy the diabolical lie that Hillel was a benevolent Pharisee and similar to Jesus Christ who drove the moneychangers out of the Temple with a whip and said that the Pharisees bind the people with heavy burdens, then why not consult a rabbi for talmudic advice on how to get out of the present debt catastrophe as Time magazine recommends?

The Theological Impetus For Postville Cruelty

Ronald C. Kiener has written a piece on the raid of the Rubashkin kosher meat packing plant in Postville, Iowa which gets to the theological heart of the matter:

... The revulsion that non-Orthodox Jews in the Upper Midwest have for the Hasidim of Postville is visceral and undeniable. Over and over, while talking to non-Orthodox Jews in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area—arguably the Jewish community outside of Postville that has the most at stake in this story—I have heard one constant refrain. “How could this have happened?” they ask rhetorically. “I’ll tell you…,” and then their voices drop a register: “These Hasidim do not think their workers are human beings.”

What these Jews are saying is probably the deepest and darkest secret of the entire story.

This is a tale of Hasidic Jews who are utterly at odds with what most Americans understand as modernity. They learn from their most sacred text, the Tanya (published in 1797 by the founder of Chabad Hasidism, Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi) that “the souls of the nations of the world, the idol worshippers, derive from unclean husks and have no goodness in them whatsoever.”

This xenophobic teaching, an intolerant note hiding within the otherwise fetching melody of Chabad Hasidism, is spun differently for different audiences. But it indicates what can happen when business proprietors armed with a chauvinistic mystical theology that denies the humanity of non-Jews face off against the “laws of the land.” Such behavior might pass unnoticed in the cloistered brownstone neighborhoods of Crown Heights, but in the open light of the prairies, there will be an inevitable clash of civilizations.

Agriprocessors, a multimillion-dollar food manufacturer, defied the rule of state and federal law to wreak havoc on a group of workers and a town they cared nothing about. It provided the niche consumer with a needed product and along the way made a tarnished and now vulnerable fortune. (Ronald C. Kiener, RELIGION IN THE NEWS, Fall 2008)

http://caribou.cc.trincoll.edu/depts_csrpl/RINVol11No2/PostvilleRaid.htm

Ronald Kiener is making light of the matter however. The teaching referenced does not apply only to idol worshipers but to all gentiles. And this is not a just a matter of mysticism. The racist teachings of the Tanya and many other texts of Orthodox Judaism are entirely practical as evidenced in the behavior of the followers of Orthodox Judaism everywhere from the Postville plant to the "settlements" on Palestinian land. And racism is only one of many problems with Orthodox Judaism which are not circumscribed to Chabad Hasidism or Chasidism in general for that matter.

The racist Tanya and other Kabbalistic texts of genocidal racism are enjoying a revival in reform synagogues as documented here:

Reform Congregation Nostalgic for Genocidal Racist Texts

Pope Benedict's synod rabbi, Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen, upholds these texts of genocidal racism as divine writ. He speaks fondly of the Tanya here:

It's Not Trillions of Dollars of Mortgages in Default Causing this Financial Meltdown

The 60-some trillion dollar derivatives racket which triggered the present financial catastrophe, and subsequently, an antithesis in the form of a multi-trillion dollar extortion paid to Wall Street and European usurers and speculators is explained here:

Pope Benedict's Synod rabbi: Friend of Chabad

Like Yin and Yang

Pope Benedict's Synod rabbi, Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen waxes nostalgic during a Chabad interview in which he relays a legend which has the Chabad "Rebbe" Menachem Schneerson hiding in his grandparents' basement for seven months during which time "The Rebbe" taught his grandfather "a little bit" from the racial-supremacist Tanya. Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen tells of the special attention he later received from "The Rebbe" during his many visits to Chabad headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York. The interview is at this link:

http://www.chabad.org/therebbe/article_cdo/aid/295122/jewish/Shaar-Yashuv-Cohen.htm

It might seem outrageous for the "first rabbi invited to address a synod of bishops" to close his address with a guilt trip vis. Pius XII "not doing enough to save 'the Jews' during WWII" and a warning for the bishops to "prevent Iran from causing another Holocaust" while he himself was involved in the terrorist ethnic cleansing of Palestine and continues to be a teacher of genocidal racial-supremacist Judaism, but it's really par for the course. This is the fruit of the "Judeo-Christian relations" racket which is in itself outrageous.

Here are a few teachings from the text of racial-supremacist pantheism, the Tanya which Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen fondly recalls that the Chabad "Rebbe" taught to his grandfather:

"... the explanation of the matter, [is to be found] in light of what Rabbi Chayim Vital wrote in Shaar HaKedushah (and in Etz Chayim, Portal 5, ch. 2) — that every Jew, whether righteous or wicked, possesses two souls, as it is written, “And neshamot (souls) which I have made. ... The second, uniquely Jewish, soul is truly “a part of G-d above,”

"The souls of the nations of the world (the Gentiles), however, emanate from the other, unclean kelipot* which contain no good whatever, as is written in Etz Chayim, Portal 40, ch. 3, that all the good that (Gentiles) do, is done out of selfish motives. So the Gemara comments on the verse, “The kindness of (Gentiles) is sin” — that all the charity and kindness done by (Gentiles) of the world is only for their self-glorification..." (Chapters 1 and 2)

"The lower category consists of three completely unclean and evil kelipot, containing no good whatever... From them flow and are derived the souls of all the nations of the world (Gentiles), and the sustaining force of their bodies. Also derived from these kelipot are the souls of all living creatures that are unclean and forbidden to be eaten, and the sustaining force of their bodies." (Chapter 6)

http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/7880/jewish/Chapter-1.htm

*"Kelipot" are demonic shells from the "Sitra Achra" (side of uncleanness) in the Lurianic Kabbalistic system. "Kelipot" are completely evil, devoid of any goodness whatever. According to this system, "Jews" emanate from the "Sitra d'Kedusha" (side of holiness).

There is no effort from the pope or any bishop or priest that I am aware of to encourage rabbinic reform of base, tribal hatred such as this which in truth is so fundamental to rabbinic texts and tradition that genuine reform is no more possible than reformation of Nazism.

More on the Synod Rabbi

Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen, the rabbi selected by Benedict XVI to address a synod of more than 250 bishops, learned violent Zionist Messianic Judaism from Avraham Yitzhak Kook and his son Zvi Yehudah Kook shown here.

Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen, who Benedict XVI has invited to address the synod of bishops this week, is a protégé of the Messianic Zionist Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak Kook. Rabbi Kook can be credited with formulating the religious rationalization for the "return" of "the Jews" to "Israel" without the arrival of "the Mosiach" occuring beforehand. He taught that "the Jews" themselves bring about "the redemption" through Zionism. This teaching harmonizes with such anti-biblical concepts as "forcing God's hand" and "as above so below." This pantheist pagan view is illustrated in Kook's statement regarding the Zionist state which he said is: "The foundation of God's Throne in the world, whose entire desire is that God shall be One and His Name shall be One." Kook wrote, "Nothing in our faith, either in its larger principles or in its details, negates the idea that we can begin to shake off the dust of exile by our own efforts, through natural, historical processes ... that we have a sacred duty to try to do so by whatever means are at our disposal."

In the mind of Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen's mentor Rav Kook, Zionism is the vehicle through which the apocalyptic rabbinic "redemption" should be humanly created by whatever means possible.

http://www.geocities.com/alabasters_archive/revealed_end.html

Rav Kook looked forward to the final annihilation of all other nations and cultures and the exultation of "Israel" in the Zionist "messianic" age:

The sin of the murderers, wicked kings of the earth and all the evildoers of the land has been completed. The earth cannot achieve atonement for the blood spilt upon it except through the blood of the one who shed it. The atonement must come: a general elimination of all the present-day cultural machines, with all their falsehood and trickery, with all their awful filth and venom. This entire culture, which exalts itself with instruments of falsehood, must, by necessity, be annihilated from the world, and in its place will emerge a kingdom of the sacred and exalted. The light of Israel will appear, to establish the world with peoples of a new spirit. (Orot Ha-Milchama)

Rav Kook founded the first Zionist yeshiva in Palestine which Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen was trained at, the Mercaz HaRav. This yeshiva is known for its role in the formation of the ultra-racist, terrorist so-called "settler movement:"

The foundations for the religious settlements in the West Bank were forged in Mercaz Harav, whose student Hanan Porat set out to restore the Jewish settlement in Gush Etzion immediately after the Six-Day War. The founders of Gush Emunim, a religious political movement that encouraged Jewish settlement of land they believe God promised the Jews, came from Mercaz Harav after the Yom Kippur War.

Rabbi Kook encouraged his students to go out and fight for the settlements in the West Bank. He himself took active part in these struggles. (Mercaz Harav - the flagship of national-religious yeshivas," Haaretz, 07/03/2008)

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/961727.html

Rabbi Kook was also unique in that his yeshiva encouraged military service. Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen apparently took this teaching to heart as he has a long history of militant activity in service of the terrorist Zionist state of counterfeit Israel. Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen was associated with the terrorist Irgun gang HERE. He is the pioneer of the Yeshivat Hesder (arrangement) which is to say, the terrifying combination of advanced yeshiva training in Talmudic racial supremacy with armed "defense."

Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen here recalls his and Tzvi Yehuda Kook's participation in the 1967 land grab:

Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen, Chief Rabbi of Haifa: "I was the last Jew to leave the Old City - wounded, on a stretcher, to Jordanian captivity. In 1967, when the war broke out, I requested of Gen. Rafael Vardi that if Jerusalem is re-conquered, I would like to be the first citizen to return to it. As soon as they conquered the city, Gen. Vardi sent a jeep to the City Hall where I was at the time, and it brought me to the Old City. On the radio in the jeep I heard the recording of Motta Gur saying 'The Temple Mount is in our hands!', and then we entered the Old City, where I met my father-and-teacher the Nazir [Rabbi David Cohen] and my teacher Rabbi Tzvi Yehuda HaKohen Kook, who had entered a few minutes before me." ("Remembering the Reunification of Jerusalem," Arutz Sheva, 06/06/05)

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/83415

Rabbi Cohen is currently active in wacko Temple Mount initiatives and has recently stated that the ban on "Jews" ascending the Temple Mount no longer applies:

Haifa's long-time Chief Rabbi She'ar-Yashuv Cohen, who has taken part in many interfaith conferences and gatherings with Moslem religious leaders, says he's trying to gather support for a synagogue on the Temple Mount. ("Support Sought for Temple Mount Synagogue," Hillel Fendel, Arutz Sheva, 12/11/07)

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/124542

Rabbi Shar Yashuv Cohen, chief rabbi of Haifa and a member of the Chief Rabbinate Rabbinical Council said the ban on Jews and other non-Muslims ascending the Temple Mount no longer exists although the Chief Rabbinate has yet to officially "endorse" such visits. ("Jews urged to emphasize Temple Mount," World Net Daily, January 28 2004)

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=36808

There is much more that could be and indeed should be said about this man whom Benedict XVI has invited to address the synod of bishops this week.
